Voodoo Fishin' Bounties and Fish Monger Targets

Edited

Read a Voodoo Fishin' Fish Monger’s Bounty board, identify the exact target in the Journal, and sell a qualifying fish at that shop. The sale display marks fish with an active Bounty multiplier using a Bounty Tag. Caesar and Louis have different boards, so a target at one shop is not automatically a bonus at the other.

Read the board for the seller you will use

Caesar and Louis offer their own Bounties. Louis is at Fort Arbre and has a unique board. Read the target at the shop you intend to use, then keep that fish’s identity separate from a visually similar species.

The developer describes daily Bounties. A screenshot or target list from a previous day is not a current job list, and this guide does not publish a fabricated “today” board.

Match the fish, then verify the bonus

Use the target’s Journal entry to select a reel for its water depth, bait with matching preference tags, and an appropriate rarity. Start with a recognizable habitat clue and try more than one suitable patch. The developer’s Journal method does not require every bait tag to match.

Land the target and bring it to the relevant Fish Monger. In the selling display, look for the Bounty Tag that marks an active multiplier. If it is absent, compare the fish identity and that seller’s current board before assuming a bonus applies.

No fixed multiplier or automatic acceptance rule is supplied by the sources here. Use the live sale display to confirm the offered outcome. Selling an expensive fish and receiving a Bounty bonus are not interchangeable observations.

Keep daily targets separate from quota rewards

The two Mongers also have separate quota meters, with different upgrade choices visible ahead of time. That crew choice does not merge the Bounty boards. Follow the quota guide when the objective is a larger cooler or a movement upgrade.

Daily target changes are a reason to reread the board, not proof of a specific reset time. No current exact refresh hour or ability to abandon and reroll a Bounty is claimed here.

A depleted fishing spot is another possible obstacle to finding the target. The Chum Bucket replenishes fishing areas; it does not change a seller’s Bounty or promise that its first replacement fish will be the one you want. Use the restocking explanation for that separate task.
