Voodoo Fishin' Puppet Parts and Customization

Edited

Voodoo Fishin' Puppet Parts are character-customization options, with additional looks tied to achievements and missions. The developer maps To Valhalla to a Top Hat & Monocle, the 10,000-fish achievement to a King’s Crown, and Species Completionista achievements to Fish Hats. Those reward mappings are separate from the full set of current customization slots and the act of equipping a newly unlocked part.

PC customization/reward reference from May/June developer updates and the October release, with a historical demo Edit Character example. The documented options and reward mappings are covered; a complete 1.0 slot/part roster and current reward-to-equip sequence are unavailable. No unlock or equipping test was performed by this site. Separate base choices from unlockable parts

The May update expands the base customization set and starts connecting special parts to achievements. It also says remaining achievement rewards will be backfilled over time. That statement is not proof that every current achievement already grants a distinct item.

June’s named additions include USA, Brazil, Korea, Japan and Argentina football uniforms, Minuteman and Frontiersman outfits, plus Sombrero, Turban, Bowler and a Caddie hat variant. These are documented addition names, not a complete final parts catalogue.

No stat bonus is assigned to a hat or outfit from appearance alone. The sources here describe customization and rewards, not combat or fishing modifiers.

Use the documented achievement-to-part relationships

The June developer update supplies the three relationships below. Steam’s published achievement descriptions supply the underlying displayed catch/mishap requirements. A reward mapping is not a claim that this site unlocked or equipped the item.

Recognize the editor without inventing a release menu path

An inspected February demo recording shows an Edit Character screen with a puppet preview, arrow selectors, Skin Color and Hair Color palettes and a Back control. The original recording establishes those visible controls at that time.

That historical screen does not establish today’s full slot set, where a newly earned part appears, or a current confirmation/save button. Use the controls shown in your build. A cosmetic reward mapping by itself does not tell you which editor selector contains the new part.

A complete unlock walkthrough must connect the completed condition to the awarded item and its selection in the editor. The announcement mappings above answer the reward question, while that final current operation remains a recorded evidence gap.

Track mission-only parts separately

The release says some Puppet Parts can only be earned through missions. It does not publish a complete mission-to-part table. Do not assume a part shown on an NPC or screenshot is a shop purchase, an achievement reward or a currently obtainable mission reward.

For a named achievement reward, use the published achievement reference. For a mission-only look, keep the actual offered job and reward together; the mission availability reference explains why yesterday’s offer may differ. A completed fish-collection achievement does not stand in for a different mission’s requirement.
