Voodoo Fishin' Dock Quotas and Shared Upgrades

Edited

Every fish sold by your Voodoo Fishin' crew contributes to a shared Dock Quota. Caesar and Louis have separate meters and reward paths, so agree which reward to pursue before selling across different shops. When a cooler reward is earned, collect the Cooler Upgrade pickup at that Fish Monger. These upgrades belong to the session.

July quota rules with the September second-Monger and pickup changes applied; 1.0 store listing. No fixed current quota formula or universal reward order is asserted. Sources and scope.

Pick the reward path before dividing sales

Louis, Caesar’s brother, operates at Fort Arbre. His Bounty board and quota meter are separate from Caesar’s. Each Monger presents a different quota reward, and the developer says you can look ahead before choosing a crew target.

Check both upcoming prizes and decide where the crew will sell for that goal. Shared progress means the dock benefits from contributions; it does not mean the two sellers have one combined meter.

Sell toward the meter, then claim the reward

Fish sales fill the meter. KawaiiFoo’s July two-player test found fish count, rather than weight or rarity, drove quota progress. That is a scoped player test from before the second Monger; it is not a published current formula or an exact number of fish per tier.

Watch the selected Monger’s actual meter while selling. When the reward is a cooler upgrade, find the Cooler Upgrade pickup at that Monger and pick it up. The September change added that physical claiming action; simply reaching a meter threshold is not the whole cooler procedure.

If you expected progress at the other shop, compare which meter you filled. If you earned a cooler reward but still have the smaller box, check its pickup. The cooler guide explains capacity and selection separately.

Understand what lasts only for the run

The developer lists larger coolers, Chum Buckets and the Fish Club as quota-era tools. Later rewards include Sprint Boost, Jump Boost and Cooler Sprint. Coolers start at four slots, with six-, eight- and ten-slot upgrades available.

The July notes explicitly say these upgrades are in-session only and that the cooler resets after leaving the lobby. They are not permanent account purchases.

A historical two-player guide lists a particular cooler/chum/club sequence, but its author warns that group size and patches can change it. Use the current reward preview rather than promising the same second or sixth reward to every crew. The Chum Bucket instructions cover what to do once that tool is available.

A Bounty tag describes a sale bonus

A Bounty targets fish for a bonus at sale, whereas the quota accumulates crew sales toward an upgrade. The shop marks eligible fish with a Bounty Tag. A high sale price or a Bounty marker does not by itself show that a particular quota tier was completed.

Use the Bounty target guide for choosing and submitting the fish; use the actual quota meter for the session reward. Junk sales and Pawn Shop transactions belong to different buyers and are not documented quota contributions.
