Voodoo Fishin' System Requirements and Platform Support

Edited

Voodoo Fishin' lists Windows 10 64-bit, 8 GB RAM, DirectX 11 and 5 GB of available storage as its minimum baseline. The minimum GPU examples are GTX 1060 6 GB or RX 580 8 GB; the recommended tier uses 16 GB RAM and RTX 3060 or RX 6700 XT. Both tiers list broadband Internet.

Official Steam PC requirements checked October 16, 2026. Hardware tiers are publisher specifications, not this site’s frame-rate measurements. Sources and scope.

Official minimum and recommended specifications

Read the two tiers as complete configurations rather than choosing a CPU from one and treating every other requirement as optional. The store does not assign a guaranteed resolution or frame rate to these tiers.

Windows, Steam Deck and unverified native ports

The product’s published computer requirements are for Windows. Steam’s app-details listing flags Windows true and native Mac and Linux false; that is not a test of compatibility layers or a prediction about future ports.

Lost Arcade’s April 27 Steam Deck post says the game is playable there and recommends Balanced graphics. That post also says it was not yet Steam Deck Verified at that time. The later supplied store capture shows a Verified label; these observations belong to different dates, not a permanent contradiction.

This page does not assert a currently rechecked Valve compatibility badge, a Deck frame rate, or a successful Mac/Linux workaround. Read the live Steam compatibility panel for its present label. Developer support statements, a platform badge and this site’s own testing would be three different kinds of evidence.

A requirement table is not a performance fix

Meeting a listed tier does not diagnose stutter, input delay or a connection error. The developer has shipped separate input, lobby and stability changes; they do not turn into a universal FPS number for every machine.

If the game runs but feels slow, begin with the symptom comparison. If the process exits or never reaches a dock, use the launch and crash checks. Neither path requires guessing a benchmark from the GPU name.
