Voodoo Fishin' has third-party mods, but a mod’s version number is not proof that it supports game version 1.0. Check what each package actually changes
HabitatInfo’s author says a notification shows the fishing area’s habitat tags when the bobber lands and disappears when you reel in. Version 1.0.3 filters out internal tags; its earlier changelog records a multiplayer compatibility fix. Those are author claims about the mod, not this site’s measurements.
InstantHook sets the bite delay to zero, so the reeling minigame starts as the line reaches the water. It does not auto-catch fish. The package version is 2.0.0; that number describes the mod, not the game build it can run against.
You do not need an old Journal-hotkey mod simply to open the Journal with J: the developer added that action to the base game on April 28. Check native Journal access before adding software for an already available feature.

Use the author’s installation path
Keep the two installation instructions separate. HabitatInfo documents BepInEx IL2CPP plus its own DLL in the plugins directory. InstantHook also offers a mod-manager path that installs its dependency. A generic download button does not mean the required loader is already present.

For a reversible comparison, disable the added package in the manager profile, or move only its named DLL out of the plugins directory while the game is closed. That reverses the added plugin; it does not repair a save or prove that every loader modification has been removed.

Treat missing compatibility information as missing
InstantHook’s author says it was built against the current Steam build, without identifying that build. The same documentation warns that changes to fishing logic can break the patch. An undated use of “current” cannot establish compatibility with the October release.
HabitatInfo’s multiplayer changelog does not certify all hosts, clients or later versions. If a problem appears after adding a package, compare the same action without that plugin before attributing the failure to the base game. Keep the symptom and loader/mod versions in any report.
